Kerr Blyth
Kerr trained at the Glasgow School of Art and was a founding member of design consultancy Studio Arc. He later joined Malcolm Fraser Architects as an associate for several years and following the successful completion of major high profile projects around the UK left in 2001 to set up KBA+D. The business has become well established in Interior Design particularly in the Leisure Sector. As a result the Architectural side has recently completed the design of a multi million pound hotel project. Kerr’s commercial design experience covers a wide range, from large scale urban design to commercial projects earning several industry awards. Kerr is a strong believer in bringing out the best in people and is delighted that KBA+D’s new Associates will take the business forward to the next level. He has 3 sons, apart from re-designing the family home Kerr has a penchant for Extreme Sports and recently took up Kite Surfing!

David Scott
Senior Architectural Tchnician
David joined KBA+D in September 2017 and has substantial knowledge in many sectors including residential, commercial, listed buildings, hotels, leisure and transport infrastructure design in over 40 years working experience. With an HNC in Building Technology he developed his skills at practices in Edinburgh such as Robert Hurd & Partners, A.Campbell Mars Architects, Jefferson Sheard Architects, Capita Symonds Architecture and also as an Architectural Consultant for Network Rail on major infrastructure projects such as Edinburgh Waverley, Haymarket and Gateway railway stations. David provides technical support across all projects. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and countryside walks with his dog.
