Kerr Blyth
Director
Kerr trained at the Glasgow School of Art and was a founding member of design consultancy Studio Arc. He later joined Malcolm Fraser Architects as an associate for several years and following the successful completion of major high profile projects around the UK left in 2001 to set up KBA+D. The business has become well established in Interior Design particularly in the Leisure Sector. As a result the Architectural side has recently completed the design of a multi million pound hotel project. Kerr’s commercial design experience covers a wide range, from large scale urban design to commercial projects earning several industry awards. Kerr is a strong believer in bringing out the best in people and is delighted that KBA+D’s four new Associates will take the business forward to the next level. Married with a son, apart from re-designing the family home Kerr has a penchant for Extreme Sports and recently took up Kite Surfing (along with his wife!).

Ross Blyth
Chairman and Non-Executive Director
Ross has 18 years experience as a Corporate Lawyer having resigned as a Partner of Henderson Boyd Jackson in 2005. Since then Ross has fulfilled a business consultancy role principally in the areas of Architecture and Design, eCommerce Web Development, Property Development, Personal Development, Interior Design and Management Accountancy. His principle role at KBAD in addition to his Chairman’s position is to oversee the financial function and head up the Remuneration Committee. Ross was instrumental in the recent Associate appointments and pulling together strategy on the re-brand and repositioning as an Architecture and Design Practice. As a former Winter Olympian (1980 Lake Placid) Ross still enjoys the odd ski trip every now and again and his favourite place in the World is the Mont Blanc massif where a top day out is skinning up to a Col, skiing down through fresh powder on the other side and finishing up in some remote village hostelry.
